Adam did his undergraduate work at UCLA in Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology and his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in San Diego, CA. He has trained with world-renowned healers and educators in a variety of disciplines throughout the U.S.,Europe, India, Indonesia, and Australia and incorporates this knowledge with each and every patient. He also holds an MBA from Murdoch University in Australia. He is currently completing advanced training in Regenerative Orthopedic Injection Therapies through NATI, AAOM, and the AOAPRM as well as in Integrative and Functional Medicine through IFM.
Adam teaches and practices integrative and functional naturopathic medicine, a personalized approach to health care that recognizes the biological uniqueness of each patient. This is an evidence-based field of health care that views the body as an interconnected whole, and recognizes the importance of these connections in health and disease. In contrast to a conventional care model, which is almost entirely drug based and focused on suppressing symptoms, we work to eliminate symptoms by addressing the underlying causes of a problem through incorporating a full spectrum of therapeutics including nutrition, botanicals, mind-body approaches, IV therapies, orthopedic regenerative injection therapies, and hormone replacement.
Adam's work is inspired by the sudden loss of his father when he was 25 years old from improper medical management of his complex chronic disease. Since that point he has dedicated his life to empowering others to take charge of their health so that a tragedy like that will never happen again.
Adam lives in Cardiff by the Sea, CA with his wife and son. He enjoys surfing with friends, cooking with family, playing music by the campfire, date nights with the love of his life, and hanging out with his best buddy, his son. He is a fourth generation San Diegan and is committed to giving back to the community that has done so much for him.
